The technical information this website generates is limited. The site uses privacy respecting analytics that record pages visited and general usage in aggregate. The analytics we use do not use cookies and do not collect information that directly identifies you. We do not ask for sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.

Making an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications, and we do not add enquirers to marketing lists automatically.

• Our legitimate interests in operating the business, responding to enquiries and maintaining appropriate records

Confidentiality

Enquiries relating to a potential business sale or acquisition are treated in confidence. We do not share information that identifies you or your business without your authority.

Information may need to be shared where necessary to provide an agreed service, where you authorise it, or where the law requires it. For transaction-specific work, sharing with buyers, funders, lawyers or other advisers is subject to appropriate confidentiality and authority considerations. Information from an initial website enquiry is not automatically sent to potential buyers.

Private buyer portal and document access

Private portal sign-in uses our existing website authentication provider, Manus OAuth. Signing in or registering does not grant access to confidential information. Email ownership, current approved NDA evidence and Gavin's individual approval are required. Online IM and Data Room permissions are separate. We record approval, access and revocation events to protect confidential information and maintain transaction records.

Where private document delivery is enabled, documents are stored in Box and delivered through our website after current access checks. Buyers are not given public Box shared links or permanent underlying download URLs. Administrator-only documents are not available through buyer permissions. Revocation prevents future authorised requests but cannot recall copies or screenshots already received. No analytics or marketing tracking is used in the private workspace.

We use Box Sign manually for agreements and retain relevant signing evidence. A signed agreement does not automatically grant portal access. Please do not upload sensitive personal data or genuine transaction documents into a workspace labelled as a synthetic development preview.

Who information may be shared with

Depending on the circumstances, information may be shared with:

• Website hosting and technology providers who operate this website
• Apollo, which we use to record enquiry contact details and Gavin's manual follow-up task
• Manus OAuth for private portal authentication and Resend for transactional email delivery
• Box for private document storage and Box Sign for agreements
• Professional advisers
• Service providers supporting the business
• Authorities where the law requires it

We only share what is necessary, and we expect those we work with to protect your information.

A website enquiry is not automatically added to Apollo email sequences or marketing campaigns. We use this record to respond personally to the enquiry you sent.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to meet legal, contractual, regulatory and record keeping requirements.

Website enquiries that do not become a client relationship are kept for 24 months from the last meaningful contact, after which the information is deleted unless there is a legitimate legal, regulatory or business reason to retain it. Where an enquiry becomes a client relationship, the information may instead form part of the relevant client and transaction records and be retained in accordance with the applicable retention requirements. The same retention period applies to enquiry records kept for us in Apollo.

Portal identity, NDA, approval and access records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant transaction, security and legal purposes. They are reviewed when access or the transaction ends. Transaction-specific retention requirements and any justified legal hold apply rather than automatic deletion of the evidence needed to explain prior access. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No internet system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot make that promise, but we take the protection of your information seriously.

International data transfers

This website is hosted and its enquiry data is processed by our website platform provider, whose infrastructure may involve processing outside the UK. Apollo may also process enquiry contact records outside the UK. Private portal authentication, transactional email and Box services may also involve processing outside the UK. We do not promise UK-only storage. Where personal information is processed outside the UK, we expect appropriate safeguards to be in place in line with UK data protection law.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, and depending on the circumstances, you have rights relating to:

• Access to your personal information
• Correction of inaccurate information
• Erasure of your information
• Restriction of how it is used
• Objection to certain uses
• Data portability
• Withdrawal of consent, where processing relies on consent
